Not easy given that two of the market principals failed to complete last time out so GREENBELT is offered reluctantly against Baren De Doc and Le Platino. George Moore's charge is by no means certain to appreciate the faster surface but he has a slightly speedier pedigree than his market rival and if the jumping holds together, he might be able to control the race to his liking. Baren De Doc has been tried at distances of three miles and further. He made all to win a staying race at Uttoxeter last summer but often compromises his chances by making fencing errors at vital times. Le Platino faced no chance against Noble Alan last time out so this rates as an effective drop in sights. Aurifex was last seen out in a point-to-point in 2008. Stolen Light should not be good enough on official figures. Greenbelt looks the most reliable conveyance in a modest race.
