Verdict

Dan and Harry Skelton have some good chances today and DESTRIER can crown a profitable meeting for them. He looked a nice prospect when scoring on good to soft at Leicester in November and is the type to go on to better things. Klare Castle finished a close second in a good ground bumper at Hexham before proving that heavy going holds no fears on a return visit in October and he's a half-brother to two winning hurdlers. Miss Tynte, a close second in a big field of bumpers at Punchestown in April, has been a bit disappointing so far over timber but she's David Pipe's only runner of the day so has to be respected. Snougar finished last in a Bangor bumper but with his yard still in good form he may prove best of the remainder.
