Verdict
Black Pirate is having a first run over hurdles in more than two years but Sayar would have a chance on his best form and One For Billy was third at Market Rasen six weeks ago. His former stablemate ANTUNES (NAP) has benefited from a change of scenery, however, winning by 17 lengths over fences at Bangor. He can race off the same mark here back over hurdles. Serious Ego is on a decent mark at present and shouldn’t be far away again while Flat winner Bucephalus looks fairly treated on his handicap bow. Sedgefield winner North Parade also has a chance, despite a 6lb rise.
