In depth

Verdict

FAIR FRONTIERES looks a cut above these and can defy a double penalty. He added to an earlier maiden success when beating a subsequent winner in a novices' race at Warwick last month and Kim Bailey’s charge is clear of Earth Business on today’s terms. The latter opened his account with victory in a conditionals’ handicap over a shorter trip here and escapes a penalty while Lucky So And So posted his best effort so far when third of four runners at Hereford and is preferred to stablemate Pencil of the remainder.
