In depth

Verdict

In this handicap, Ring The Boss is selected ahead of Sharp Reply and Camden George. A 14-pounds rise for the progressive Sharp Reply following his latest win will test his mettle. Ring The Boss has a similar profile but, having been raised to a mark of 110 following handicap and novice wins, could have been slightly better treated and gets the vote from us. The likes of Imtihan, Aitch Doubleyou, Scotmail Too and Open de L'Isle have it prove from their current ratings in terms of winning, while Divex has not shown too much overall yet. Camden George is a little hard to assess based on his novice form as he races in handicaps for the first time, but the run of Major Oak, who beat him in December, earlier on the card might provide you with some clues. Finally, with Beamish Prince's win having come in a seller last time, we return to the selection, which is Ring The Boss.
