In depth

Verdict

Plenty of chances in another open contest but MASQUE OF ANARCHY has every chance of getting out in front from his draw and will probably try to make all, He revealed a gutsy attitude when doing just that at Pontefract recently and remains fairly treated off 72, up 3lb for that latest success. He is up a level in grade here but this looks within his compass. Morning Sun has a 5lb penalty for a recent Class 4 win at Ayr but scored decisively and a repeat performance would bring him bang into contention, whilst Deferred rates a player for the Varian yard as he should have more to come after just five starts. Frankendael - on seasonal bow - also falls into that category and could well get involved along with Auld Toon Loon and Western Stars.
