Verdict

SOLAR SOVEREIGN appeared to run well here on his debut under Rules in December but never figured subsequently at Uttoxeter. He might be worth another chance with the champion jockey booked as Montgomery’s win at Fontwell in the autumn hasn’t worked out and Technology pulled hard and ran green at Chepstow and may need more time. A dual bumper winner in the French provinces, Halpha Soleil is having a first run for Micky Hammond.
