Lord Of The River, Wain Mountain and Royal Emperor are three against the field in a wide open handicap chase and the vote goes to the last named. The selection is top class when his jumping holds up and although he has failed to complete the course on his last two runs he has conditions to suit and despite top weight he is taken to score off what looks a fair mark. Lord Of The River rates the main danger on his latest second behind Gunter McBride but he is far from consistent and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Wain Mountain is another that could go well he was a fair second behind Almost Broke last time. However that was over two miles and he has yet to win over a trip this far so he is over looked here. Jungle Jinks is another that looks to be on a fair mark but he took a nasty fall last time out and it is hard to know if his confidence has not been effected. Of the remainder Be My Royal is a fair sort at his best and is from a yard in form so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Royal Emperor.
