Paul Webber and Sue Smith have both trained the winner of this twice in recent times and have interesting candidates today. The former saddles Marley Roca, who looked a progressive chaser in the spring though has yet to win away from Stratford. But we prefer YOU KNOW YOURSELF, who had gone over the top when disappointing at Ayr in April but had looked one to follow at Carlisle earlier having also made a favourable impression over these tricky fences last November. Border Reiver went close at Sedgefield last month and is only a couple of pounds higher here, but Horseshoe Reef gets no respite from the handicapper and Douryna's jumping will be put under scrutiny around here. Otage De Brion, Knockavilla and Le Roi Rouge all return from a break but wouldn't be far away if fully wound-up.
