Unicorn Reward has gone up 5lbs despite finding one too good at Hereford last month and may have to settle for minor honours again with preference for the less exposed Sculastic, who gets the vote ahead of Keen Warrior. The last mentioned finally opened his account when taking a race at Uttoxeter when last seen in February but a 9lb rise since then looks harsh in the extreme so he is probably best left out of calculations. Top weight Daldini could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Malt de Vergy is hard to recommend on recent form. A market move for Oeil d'Estruval would be of some interest, while Upright Ima ran another good race over course and distance last time and should be thereabouts. The vote though goes to Sculastic, who showed promise on the level when with Luca Cumani and finally opened his account when taking a novice hurdle at Kelso last month. The handicapper has left the son of Galileo unchanged since that success and he is taken to win again.
