In depth

Verdict

Mighty Fine was good value for his win in a selling hurdle at Sedgefield earlier this month but this looks tougher for the 13-year-old under the burden of 11st 12lb and preference is for Vinmix De Bessy, with College City rated the pick of the remainder. The selection lost no caste in defeat behind Surfboard at Plumpton last time, a run for which he is set to go up 2lbs in future handicaps, and he looks to hold solid claims of going one better today. Flight Command was well held in the Topham last time and remains on a long losing sequence so is probably best watched, while Schinken Otto has given little sign of encouragement in recent outings. College City has run creditably in his last two starts and has to be considered but Vinmix De Bessy has solid claims and he gets the vote.
