In depth

Verdict

Moriko De Vassy won at Doncaster on Saturday but will have a penalty to carry if making a quick reappearance. Black Minster and Del La Mar Rocket shoulder 7lb extra for respective victories at Newcastle and Exeter but the latter looked impressive in between the banks of fog at the Devon track. Imperial Storm ran green at Southwell but made late headway once the penny dropped and is a likely improver. TEA FOR FREE won his sole start in an Irish point has a jumping pedigree. He hails from a yard that’s coming into form and is Aidan Coleman’s only booked ride at the meeting so definitely worth a second look.
