Verdict

Nortonthorpelegend is only a pound higher than his last winning mark and is usually thereabouts in this grade but Sigurd appears to have lost the plot since back-to-back wins at Catterick. Carlisle runner-up Lex Talionis is 0-15 over fences and still looks too high in the weights but Uttoxeter third Bene Regina has run well here on a couple of occasions. Eaton Miller has been in cracking form but will have to defy an 8lb rise to complete the hat-trick. Hang Tough has a first and a third to his name in two runs over fences but GOING MOBILE looks better treated. He’s now a pound lower than when scoring at Market Rasen in the autumn and has been running better than recent form figures would suggest.
