In depth

Verdict

Those to have raced have shown very little and it will be a surprise if one of the newcomers doesn't make a winning debut. Richard Guest has made an excellent start to his training career and his representative Red Marsala warrants strong consideration being by Roselier out of a multiple-winning handicap chaser. Mick Easterby is three-handed with debutantes High Fields and Moonlit Harbour making plenty of appeal on breeding. Nephew Tim introduces the Flat-bred On Approval while another to consider is Sue Smith's Hayburn Vaults in what should prove an informative contest.
