Heavy going will be very much on the agenda so EDGE OF TOWN is the pick with King O' The Gypsies and Saddle Pack others to consider. The selection took part in what was an above average bumper by Uttoxeter's standards on similar going and was far from disgraced over hurdles at Market Rasen on reappearance. King O' The Gypsies has the size to be a decent hurdler. He looked more than a little quirky on the flat but the trainer has had a good record with his runners at the track of late. Saddle Pack has won Irish points over three miles so the trip really should be of no concern. Echoes Of Dawn isn't necessarily bred to get the trip so the market has to be watched closely. Alaska View has bits and pieces of form from a while back that would entitle him to consideration. Viking Blond takes her chance off a featherweight. Worryingly, she has been tailed off on her last two starts. Highway Nineteen would be interesting were to be any money around. He is related to a couple of staying hurdlers that were able if not necessary capable in the ground. Donald McCain won this race last year and we reckon he can follow up with Edge Of Town this afternoon.
