In depth

Verdict

Very Extravagant last won in 2016 but is now 14lb lower as a result, though recent efforts don’t inspire confidence. Ludlow winner Midnight Glory couldn’t cope with a 7lb weight rise at Huntingdon but wasn’t disgraced so makes more appeal than the exposed Little Millie. CARROLLS MILAN has only run four times under Rules and been second twice, including on her handicap debut at Ludlow last month. She could have done without a 4lb rise but still looks the one to beat. Drewmain Legend made mistakes at Warwick so probably did well to finish fourth and she’ll strip fitter today.
