Verdict

SPIRIT OF HALE demolished similar opposition at Sedgefield 11 days ago. He has 11lb more to carry today but a reproduction of that effort may well suffice. Alberto's Dream has place claims and Smuggler's Stash would have a chance on past form. Newberry New and Sigurd are others to consider but Ector, though placed twice this season, is 0-11 and never seems to run two races alike.
