STRABOE is the most tentative of selections. Not seen since April, this Green Desert gelding remains capble of more improvement from his current handicap rating. Heavy ground is a (relative) unknown but he handles good-to-soft ground so hopes are high on that front. Watches can be set by Erebus but he doesn't win often enough, a charge levelled at most of the field. Two Turtle Doves is in better form than many having broken her duck in July, Doctor Hilary should appreciate the return to six furlongs, whilst David Probert looks a good jockey booking for Valmina. At a price we might see more from Downhill Skier now tackling slower ground than of late.
