In depth

Verdict

Green Room gets a good shout here ahead of Particle in a race lacking strength in depth. Green Room's form rates as the best on offer and John Dunlop's filly, a half-sister to Scarlet Ribbons, has a good chance to earn some winning brackets. The Mark Johnston newcomer, Particle, was bought back by his owners for 55,000 guineas and, in a race that, as we say, lacks strength in depth, ought to go well on his debut. Henry Cecil's Primitive Academy has not shown too much in two bumper runs, and Precious Lucy and Tanmeya have also not shown much in jumping careers. Finally, with Macho Dancer and Park Seasons' form looking only modest, we return to the selection, which is Green Room.
