        Verdict

        From a short list containing Flying Edge, Pippa's Dancer and Summer Recluse, we will select Flying Edge for this sprint. Flying Edge races now from three pounds above an autumn winning mark and, looking as though he was coming back to form last time, he could well jump out and make them all go today. Cree could take him on in front and, on his best form, can't be ruled out, while Cayman Breeze is back to the mark he won from last July so will have his supporters. Even though she has been raised four pounds for her Leicester win, Pippa's Dancer's form is actually working out quite well and she holds obvious chances today. Pawan often bags some money when least expected, but couldn't be a strong win fancy, while Summer Recluse is a course and distance winner that has been running fairly well of late and certainly has a shout for a place. With the other pair being hard to fancy, we return to the selection, which is Flying Edge.
