This maiden can go the way of Reballo, with Gleneagles and Hartmann also considered. The selection was well-backed on his debut and he ran an eyecatching race to finish second behind Massaro Pape at Kempton. He is sure to come on for the run and he sets the benchmark for his rivals. Gleneagles has had two runs now and he will have to improve to get competitive today. His debut race has not worked out particularly well and he was a little disappointing last time at Wolverhampton so he has it all to prove at present. Hartmann finished third behind Arabian Gleam at Lingfield last time and with the return to 7f very much in his favour today he is respected. Al Badeya has shown only moderate form so far but it could be foolish to write off this 3-year-old from the Sir Michael Stoute yard just yet, although she has only ever raced on a fast surface. Reballo looks the stand-out pick here and is taken to score.
