Balakiref, Sea Salt, Chatshow and Tender Process all hold claims in this handicap and the vote is given to Balakiref. This 8-year-old from the Micahel Dods yard will relish today's ground conditions and it is worth noting that the last time that Darryll Holland rode him he won. He has a fair draw today and he should be capable of going close. Tender Process was disappointing last time at Thirsk when he could only finish in mid-division, but his best form is with some cut in the ground and that could be the key to his chance today. He could go well at a price, but the high draw does rather temper confidence. Sea Salt put in an improved effort at Musselburgh last time time and he won't mind a bit of cut in the ground so he looks to have place claims. Chatshow has been running well of late and although he may be better over 6f these days, he is pretty consistent and should give punters a run for their money from a good draw. This is a tricky race but we will side with Balakiref who can return to winning ways.
