Verdict

Arnold Layne is a dual C&D winner and ridiculously well treated nowadays but has already blown similar opportunities this season and clearly isn't the force of old. Timpo probably needs further help from the handicapper if he is to end a frustrating run of placed efforts, though appears to have the beating of Feeling Peckish on their run together at Ludlow last month. Heezagrey has completely lost his way while Crack At Dawn has now had 17 runs under Rules without threatening to get his head in front so the logical choice is RUDINERO. Barry Brennan's grey won over 3m3f at Taunton before finding a combination of soft ground and a marathon trip against him in better company at Folkestone - he is worth another chance.
