Faultless Feelings won a four-year-old point-to-point in Ireland last year and made a very satisfactory start to his hurdling career when chasing home Radetsky March over this trip at Huntingdon. He is certainly one for the short-list here along with Sweet Irony, who is the choice of Robert Thornton ahead of stablemate Mickytaker and has been placed in all three starts over timber so far. Monbeg Dude is interesting now tackling hurdles, while Captain Cool improved on his Newbury debut at Wincanton earlier this month but the vote goes to ROSSMORE LAD. Charlie Longsdon's six-year-old was well-regarded in the point-to-point field in Ireland and his trainer had done well with similar types in the past.
