Bauhaus made a very pleasing hurdling debut and can take this competitive event, Eleazar and Selective could provide most danger. The selection, an easy winner on the flat in Ireland, ran really well behind Miss Pebbles, before lack of fitness told in the last furlong. He will have learnt a great deal from that outing and as it was his first race for twelve months improvement is almost guaranteed. Eleazar finished an excellent fourth behind Mikado at Uttoxeter last month and as with Bauhaus there should be plenty of scope for improvement. Selective comes into the same category. Tony Carroll's six-year-old made his debut at Plumpton where he finished a close up third to the decent pair Dusky Lord and Turbo. Siberian Highness is a newcomer to keep an eye on in the betting, but there is no substitute for experience and Bauhaus can use his to land this contest.
