A couple of these may prove to be difficult to place in the future so now might be the time to side with Damargi, who has already shown that a race of this nature is well within her compass. With Bojangles, Strategy and Campanini expected to be the best of the rest. The selection hails from the in-form yard of Amanda Perrett and has shown progressive form since her introduction in a similar contest at Leicester last winter. She has acted well on firm ground in both her previous starts this term and should appreciate this slightly easier level of contest. Strategy has a little to find with the three-year-old on a line through the Ed Dunlop-trained Clever Clogs, so Bojangles may give Damargi the most to do in what is his first try at this trip.
