Disappointingly just the six runners line up for this novices' hurdle but it looks little more than a match between KAYF ARAMIS and Tisfreetdream, with the former looking the one to beat. Difficult to win with on the flat, Venetia Williams has had similar problems with the son of Kayf Tara since he has been placed over hurdles but the seven-year-old was good value for his win at Chepstow last week and he is taken to follow up that success receiving weight from his main rival. Tisfreetdream has done little wrong of late and has to be respected after another decent effort at Cheltenham last month. His form on ground as testing as this does not match that of Kayf Aramis though and that is what makes him the selection. Haldibari has claims but is held by Tisfreetdream on running at Stratford in October and he has disappointed in two starts since then. Mooncoin Man did win an Irish point but has given no sign of encouragement in two starts under rules, while Osbourne would need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge but may do better now stepped up in trip. Dawn Street has been well held in all three starts and a better option looks to be Kayf Aramis, who is taken to win again under conditions that suit.

Haldibari (IRE) 16-1 (11-9) In touch, weakened after 4 out, tailed off when pulled up 2 out in race won by Edgbriar (11-1) at Newbury 2m 5f nov hcp hdl 0-120 (3) gs in Nov, 11 ran.
Osbourne 66-1 (11-0) In touch, weakened when hit 5th, soon tailed off and pulled up 2 out in race won by Haddaaf (11-0) at Plumpton 2m mdn hdl (5) gd in Apr, 12 ran.
Dawn Street 66-1 (10-4) Mid-division, took keen hold, dropped rear 7f out, 14th of 15, well behind Choctaw Nation (10-12) at Uttoxeter 2m mdn nhf (6) gf in May.
