The official ratings may well be very much in the favour of Scartozz but there's a reason that the seven-year-old now appears in this company so we'll take a chance on the inform Clear Sailing while Boss Hogg also looks worth a second glance. The selection has been running really well this winter in similar events finishing in front twice and finding just one two good on a further two starts in the last four outings. Being a course and distance winner is always a help here too and the form from his last time out near miss has been franked with the winner scoring again next time out. Boss Hogg ended a run of four runners¿ up spots in a row with victory here over a slightly shorter trip on his last appearance. The mile trip has often proved just one furlong too far in the past but on this form and in this company he could well get home this time. Scartozz is rated 13lbs better than anything else in this field but is not running well, hence the entry in this contest. West End Lad has some winning form to suggest a chance too while Louisaide has plenty to find on these according to the ratings so CLEAR SAILING looks good to score again.
