      Verdict

      Top weight MY MENTOR looks to be back to a very competitive mark and has the call with Edas looking the main threat while Bendouin Boy is also of interest. Now just four pounds higher in the ratings than the last time he won a race the selection showed that a mark of this type is well within his scope with a good show off one pound higher last time. The form from that race has since worked out with the fourth placed horse going on to score again next time up. Edas has those all important letters C and D next to his name winning over course and distance on his penultimate start. He ran well under a penalty last time and he'll be in the mix again on these terms. Connections of Bendouin Boy will hope a change of trainer will bring out his best after some poor effort over jumps recently. In his last effort here he ran well and he seems off a really competitive mark. Others to mention would include Mambo Sun and Trans Sonic who have the ability to run well on their day but our idea of a winner is My Mentor.
