Verdict

Bringewood Fox is temptingly handicapped on his form over hurdles but winning on his first try over fences following a 583-day absence is no easy task and he's worth taking on with MISS FLEUR. Nick Mitchell does well with staying chasers and this mare looked value for further when winning by five lengths at Lingfield, in the process jumping really nicely and gaining compensation for being brought down previously. Atherstone Hill is another returning from a lengthy absence and tries a visor for the first time, but this lightly-raced type is opposable along with Ukrainian Star, who may just need a sound surface to be seen to his best. As a result Overton Lad looks the one for the forecast having stayed on over course-and-distance last time. He never really looked like winning that day but clearly goes well here and won't be stopping at the finish despite a 2lb rise.
