In depth

Verdict

ELYSEES will likely need further than this in time judged on his third at Chepstow. However, that was still a decent first effort and he was a consistent sort on the Flat up to 2m. Alan King’s gelding should be too good for Huntingdon scorer Percy Prosecco in receipt of 6lb. Bodes Well already looks fully exposed but Carouse made a promising start at Ludlow, despite racing freely. Isaac Wonder has only had one run since arriving from Ireland and finished last while Peloric’s third came in a newcomers’ bumper, though he wasn’t beaten far.
