In depth

Verdict

Not a very strong race this and it is probably likely that Nicky Henderson will have Carole's Legacy ready to do herself justice first time, so she can score here from Santia and Flutter Bye. The selection is bred to go well over further in time, but Nicky Henderson is not accustomed to training too many without some level of speed and the filly is probably likely to have enough to get her by here. Fellow debutante Santia represents another good trainer in this sphere in Alan King and with Robert Thornton on board the suggestion is probably that she is pretty decent too. The Kahyasi mare has both speed and stamina in her blood and the market will give us a clue as to her chance today. Like the selection, Flutter Bye gets the four-year-old allowance here and she stayed on nicely when making a pleasing Newbury debut in December. With improvement likely, Henry Daly's runner is very much respected. Allfortara and Flow Gently Along looks the best of the remainder with experience but we'll take newcomer Carole's Legacy to score.
