In depth

Verdict

A tentative vote goes to Killard Point although he has disappointed the last twice and may just be feeling the effects of a busy period; this test should suit and he had been running consistently this season although his recent performances have to be a real concern. Finzi stays all day but has shown his best form under testing conditions and he cannot be certain to reproduce his best form on this faster surface. Fine By Me needs rain to fall in order to take his chance in this contest but he has scope to improve as a staying chaser and could feature if allowed to take his chance. It's difficult to make a solid case for the remaining three participants and Killard Point is suggested.
