Go Amwell has been running well but may have to settle for a minor role behind Theatre Dance who is marginally preferred to Plein Pouvoir. The selection beat a subsequent winner in good style at Fontwell on his hurdling bow but struggled when stepped up to Grade 2 company at Huntingdon. There was no disgrace in his defeat there and he should be able to get back to winning ways in this company. Go Amwell has filled third spot behind useful sorts the last twice and his form has a solid look to it but life isn't easy for him under a penalty and a minor role is the most likely outcome once again. Plein Pouvoir ran well on his second start over hurdles to chase Cryptic home but he was a shade disappointing over this course and distance last time. There'll be more to come from him in time but, today, we prefer Theatre Dance.
