Verdict

LUSTLEIGH (NAP) led for a long way at Wetherby and jumped well in the main until tiring and falling at the last. That was his racecourse debut and, if a tumble hasn’t dented confidence, he is likely to be prominent here. Duke Of Condicote would have been the best of these on the Flat, scoring at Haydock in June, though Adagio did win over 1m4f at Clairefontaine in August and David Pipe has done well with similar types. Galidermes won three times in France and may be the pick of the remainder as Camacho Man and Fiscal Prudence have been off the track for a while.
