Kelamon will relish this ground and can complete a quick-fire hat-trick despite a double penalty, while Spiffing, Kings Bastion and Bee Eater all having claims. The selection has welcomed the recent rains, hitting the mark at Windsor on both soft and heavy ground recently, and he was not stopping when defying a 6lb penalty on Monday. This trip is ideal and provided he gets out and is ridden up with the pace he should complete a notable treble. Spiffing is an interesting runner for Ralph Beckett. The Indian Ridge colt appreciated the cut when second at Brighton last time and he put up his best effort so far as a result. With improvement to come he is a danger. King's Bastion handled cut last time at Newmarket but his bloodlines suggest that he would not want it bottomless here and that may scupper his chances. Bee Eater looked a bit of a madam at headquarters on Saturday but she picked up well at the finish and proved she handles cut too. With scope for more from her she too can get involved at the business end but preference is just for Kelamon, who will relish this test.
