A chance is taken with Heaven Sent, who is a half-sister to Megahertz, a top-class performer between a mile and ten furlongs in the States. Stablemates, Aurora Jane and Namu others to note in the betting, while the well-bred newcomer Island Babe throws a spanner in the works and it will also be noteworthy to see how the market speaks about Frankie Dettori's mount in the race. This half-sister to nine furlong winner Lake Toya is sure to get better with experience and is worth keeping tabs on from here. Namu sets the standard on the official BHB figures and is entitled to be thereabouts at the finish. The step up in trip should not be a problem for the daughter of Mujahid and, as her yard are absolutely flying at present, she could represent good value for one of the places at least. However, we turn to Heaven Sent on this occasion. Sir Michael Stoute's charge fared better than her finishing position would suggest when she was seventh of 18 in Newmarket maiden in July. Five winners have come out of that contest and the form looks a reliable yardstick. Heaven Sent is a Fillies Mile entry and is fancied to put a stamp on her claims with an improved display today.
