ATLANTIC GOLD has a handicap rating of more than 120 and that would normally be good enough to win an early-season maiden hurdle. He's only found one too good in four of his seven starts over timber and deserves a change of luck. Newcomer Snowmane is possibly his most interesting rival having won three times on the Flat up to 1m2f. He won't fail through lack of fitness but the trip is an unknown factor. Who You For has already won a point-to-point and a bumper so has no stamina issues while Theatre Goer was second over this trip on her debut under Rules at Newton Abbot and badly hampered when unseating her rider on her second start.
