An interesting opener, despite the small field. PADDYS RUNNER made all to get off the mark over hurdles on his second start at Plumpton. He can give 7lb to Impulsive American, a winner on the Flat who only weakened approaching the last on his hurdles bow at Perth and will know more today. French import Chic Name only found a useful juvenile too good at Worcester last month and Our Kylie has already been placed twice. Donald McCain's novices here are always worth a second look but Aussie Berry showed little on the level for Michael Bell.
