Jackthejourneyman finally got off the mark at Huntingdon in August and has to go on the short-list here, despite a 7lb rise. But BADGERS RETREAT (NAP) stayed on strongly when only beaten a head here nine days ago and would probably have won had his jumping been a little better. He's been left on the same mark and can go one better. Koup De Kanon was beaten when falling at the last at Perth but is still unexposed over fences and well treated on his hurdles form. Kapricorne and Handsome Buddy return from a break while Try Catch Me is pounds better at Fontwell than elsewhere.
