This looks to lie between Toon Trooper, Torche and Willie John Daly with our vote going to Willie John Daly. The selection is stepped up in trip here but should be ok on that score and, judged by the way he battled to victory on testing going last time at Fontwell, ought to go well again. Torche hammered subsequent scorer Bacyan at Wetherby last time, proving that he stays well. He ought to go well again. Toon Trooper was disappointing at Towcester last time but had looked reasonable at Warwick the time before, a race in which he finished eight-and-a-half lengths ahead of Torche at level weights. If he's back on song, he should go well but, for us today, it's Willie John Daly.
