Verdict

GUNSHIP has it to do under topweight but was really impressive when scooting away to victory at Newton Abbot last time, for which he has been raised 11lb. However, he completed back-to-back successes when scoring over course and distance last year and is taken to repeat the dose. The ex-French Kap West showed his first form in the UK when third at Chepstow last time, looks a likely improver and has time on his side. He should get involved but Delgany Gunner looks anchored by the handicapper at present, having been raised 23lb since scoring at Folkestone in February. That certainly looked the case at Towcester last time. The Fox's Decree could go well making his chasing debut in handicap company.
