Verdict

Enigmatic hurdler Brother Joe created a favourable impression on his chasing debut at Worcester at the beginning of the month and it will be a surprise if he cannot add to his tally here with Capricorn Princess and Praetorian Gold most likely to fight out the forecast spot. The selection is different class to these over hurdles and while not, as yet, an accomplished jumper he should be too classy for some moderate rivals. Capricorn Princess is rated more then two stones inferior to Brother Joe over hurdles and is coming to chasing late in her career at the age of nine but rates the best bet for second ahead of the ex-Irish Praetorian Gold, who makes his British debut today. The remainder are little better than plating class.
