Verdict

County Derry looks a worthy favourite in the Land Rover final, with the main danger coming in the shape of Araminta, although Ourman lines up in fair form as well. County Derry boasts the best form of all, having posted a decent fifth in the Foxhunters at Cheltenham before chasing home Earthmover at the same venue. That form alone would be enough to win this, but the 10-year-old has since gained some reward when winning here nine days ago. The slight move up in trip should suit Jeremy Scott's charge who is expected to easily give weight away to these rivals. On a line through Kingscliff, Araminta has it to do to topple the market leader, while Ourman has more to do than when scraping home at Hexham but will stay every yard of the trip.
