The Kew Tour can stop Rum Pointer from completing a hat-trick, with Majed, Ballylusky, Bee An Bee and Strong Resolve all adding to an interesting contest. The Kew Tour should have beaten Rum Pointer when they met at Haydock last month but was stopped in his tracks by a bad mistake at the last. He was just in front at the time, going well, and went on to make amends at Doncaster next time. Connections would probably want it a bit faster for him really, but he receives 11bs from course and distance scorer Rum Pointer, and that should even things out. Majed missed an engagement at Cheltenham midweek to wait for this and Paul Nicholls has his team flying, but Majed has more to do here than of late. Ballylusky is far better treated over fences than hurdles, but will have to brush up his jumping, but Bee An Bee is a danger as he has form on the track. Strong Resolve nestles down near the bottom of the handicap and has been very consistent, but he too faces a tougher task than of late, and so, providing he handles the ground, The Kew Tour is the one to beat.
