Verdict
Vidi Caesar has been placed a couple of times this term and may gain due reward over Baron Aron and Red Oassis. Richard Guest is a trainer to follow these days and now could be the time to support Vidi Caesar after his second to King's Travel at Bangor. The New Zealand-bred appreciated the fitting of cheekpieces that day and has no more to do here. Baron Aron was third in that Bangor race and meets the selection on slightly better terms, but may not have fully settled in since moving over from Ireland. Red Oassis was very much in need of his return behind Jupon Vert at Warwick but does have plenty of experience over fences. He appears to be a bit too high in the weights at present though and is overlooked. Athnowen has a bit of an absence to overcome, otherwise he would have been considered for a place, so for the winner we return to Vidi Caesar.
