Yes My Lord disappointed at Wincanton last time but David Pipe's gelding has been given a real chance by the handicapper and on ground that suits looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to resume winning ways, getting the vote ahead of Fleetwood Forest and Over The Blues. The last mentioned, like the selection, ran below expectations last time but is probably better than he showed that day and has to be respected with Jonjo O'Neill's team in good form right now. Peter Bowen has his string in good form right now but his runner Adventurist is hard to back on recent evidence, while Merrymaker gave little sign for encouragement on his handicap debut last time. Michaels Dream is on a long losing sequence and of more interest may be Alan King's Fleetwood Forest, who is well treated on the pick of his form but has failed to complete in three of his last four starts. There are doubts about most of these and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Yes My Lord.
