A modest prize has attracted a huge field but few of them arrive in form. Irish raider Cairnshill is an exception as he was only beaten half-a-length over a longer trip at Sedgefield last month when Tokyo Javilex was behind. King's Song's latest second at Worcester came over fences, however, while Better Days ran poorly when favourite here last time after winning at Worcester. DESERT SENSATION was quietly fancied for a couple of maiden hurdles last month but looked one-paced on both occasions. This big step up in distance might be the key to him and he has more scope than the majority of his rivals.
