BLEU ET NOIR won for third time over hurdles when successful at Newton Abbot. He would have to carry a big weight under accumulated penalties if not for George Blackwell’s 10lb allowance and the conditional has already ridden a winner for Tim Vaughan this month. Baltic Storm has every chance on these terms but hasn’t raced since April while Tell The Tale makes his hurdling bow after three placed efforts in bumpers. Civil War has failed to show any progress over timber and Kabanga Bay has yet to record any worthwhile form.
