LADY LUSELLE has taken a while to get the hang of things over hurdles but there have been definite signs of improvement lately and it is significant that Elizabeth Doyle has engaged AP McCoy for the mare on her first appearance this side of the Irish Sea. Off a light weight, she is fancied to open her account at the main expense of Perth runner-up Vallani. Daraz Rose had Little Carmela behind when scoring at Fakenham but will find this more difficult and just as interesting is Willow Wren, who stays well and was still in front when falling at Plumpton last time. Gouranga, a winner at Towcester in March, may be best of the rest.
